People love to come to Nashville for the diverse entertainment, hip food scene, historical attractions, the musical heritage and sometimes for no other reason that it’s a fantastic place to party. There is simply always something going on in this town day and night, every day of the year and New Year’s Eve is certainly no exception. In fact, Nashville’s NYE event has grown year after year, until it has become one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the country. People come from all over to party out the old year and usher in the new and this year, visitors can plan on an even-bigger NYE than usual.
As the town awaits Nashville’s own midnight “Music Note Drop”, there will be live music galore, including headliner Lady Antebellum, seven-time Grammy winning country trio. Jack Daniel’s Bash on Broadway: New Year’s Eve in Music City is a music-laden evening featuring performances by local group The Apache Relay, Electric Guitarist extraordinaire Kristen Copolino and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw. But don’t be mistaken that you can’t celebrate the rest of the time you are here in town because there are big events happening all over the city.
For instance, The NHL Nashville Predators are playing the Philedelphia Flyers at Bridgestone Arena in Nashivlle on December 27. You can get tickets for this event here. Are you more of a football fan? Not a problem, you can catch a NFL Tennessee Titans football game as they fight the Indianapolis Colts at LP Field on December 28. If those look good to you, then you might enjoy the Music City Bowl’s MusicFest and Battle of the Bands which will be happening at the corner of Second and Broadway. The Battle of the Bands will feature the LSU Tigers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The MusicFest and Battle of the Bands are happening on December 29.
On December 30 at 2.00 p.m., Notre Dame and LSU play in the Franklin Mortgage Music City Bowl at LP Field. Check the details out here. Before the Music Bowl, Jason Eskridge will be performing on the Main Stage at First and Broadway.
