Craig Waynes Boyd Moves on to compete for Top Four

To celebrate being one of the fearless five left on The Voice as of this week’s show, Country Music Artist Craig Wayne Boyd came home to Nashville for a “Homecoming Concert” at Wildhorse Saloon on 2nd Ave. last night. Perhaps Boyd,   houseband member at Wildhorse Saloo, was needing to see loved ones, visit friends or simply to get major motivation for competing for the Top Four of The Voice on NBC, whatever the reason, Nashville was delighted to have him home, to call her own and hope he stays, whether he wins the big trophy or not.

Rooted in Texas, it was a natural for his friends, family and fans to tell Boyd he should be Nashville Bound with all that country talent he was packing. And with his determination, dedication and bad boy attitude combining with his homegrown charm, it wasn’t long before the singer was in the midst of Nashville’s Country Music scene, which including being in one of the world famous Wildhorse Saloon’s housebands.

Now on The Voice, there are no women, no Team Pharrell team members and very close to no more chances left until the winner is named. Mr. Boyd, who started out on Team Blake, was stole by Team Glen and stolen back by Team Blake, has not disappointed anyone, especially his Nashville and Wildhorse Saloon fans. As a Nashville lifetimer (and it’s over half a century now), this AXS Nashville staff writer is unashamedly partial to this Texas based, Nashville placed country singer Craig Wayne Boyd and his “day job”  Wildhorse Saloon.

On Monday and Tuesday, The Voice will be working its way to the Top Four, which is a landmark position on any kind of reality show or contest. Watch out for an article here and hopefully, an interview, as well, once a week until we find out who has The number one Voice!
